How Jaspira Designs a Wedding at Taj Exotica Resort Goa
Our on-ground wedding architects coordinate multi-day celebrations by strategically allocating functions to match lighting, natural breeze, and guest transition flow:
Haldi & Mehendi
Hosted by the poolside or shaded palm garden. Styled with fresh yellow marigold curtains, cane low-seating diwans, refreshing tender coconut & elaneer counters, and lively Kerala chenda melam or dhol beats.
Sangeet & Cocktail Gala
Held inside the climate-controlled indoor ballroom to bypass Kerala's 10:00 PM outdoor loudspeaker curfew. Designed with concert-grade truss lighting, customized LED visuals, a full cocktail bar, and an energetic DJ dance floor.
Muhurtham • Pheras
Curated on the scenic waterfront lawn facing sunset or backwaters. A bespoke floral mandap adorned with jasmine, lotus, and temple brass urulis, accompanied by traditional nadhaswaram live musicians.
Grand Wedding Reception
An evening banquet under a canopy of warm fairy lights across the celebration lawn. Candlelit guest round tables, live instrumental acoustic ensemble, and an elaborate royal multi-cuisine banquet spread.
📅 Seasonality & Weather Considerations for Kumarakom
Peak Season (October to March): Best weather with gentle breezes and pleasant temperatures. Open-air lawn weddings are spectacular.
Summer (April to May): Warm tropical days; morning and evening ceremonies are recommended.
Monsoon (June to August): Romantic lush greenery; indoor air-conditioned ballroom setups or waterproof glass canopy structures are required for all celebrations.

- Families seeking an integrated resort where the bridal party and guests stay and celebrate together at one venue.

— Consider Other Venues If

- You require completely self-catered kitchen facilities without using the hotel's certified executive culinary brigade.
